Prizes up for grabs for  film-makers and photographers at Shepton DigiFest

The film and photograpy competitions are open to everyone, whatever your age, experience or equipment. All you need is a camera, an idea and a little imagination.

Prizes include a unique opportunity to work with world renowned Bristol production company Icon Fims and Somerset's award winning Grace Productions.

For our Icon Films Factual Short Film competition, the Bristol film company - whose work appears regularly on the BBC and US network television - are offering winners the chance to experience programme making behind the scenes.

Grace Productions
are offering a day on location or in edit, in the 12-17 category, in Fiction and Factual categories.  

We have signed copies of Aardman's Cracking Animation books, and £600 of stunning fine art inkjet paper donated by St Cuthbert's Mill

The prizes on offer are

Icon Films:

Under 12's: A critique of their next film outline and a set of Wild Scene Investigation DVDs

12-17: A day in the edit at Icon Films

18+: A day on location or in the edit at Icon Films

St Cuthberts Mill  - who makes the extremely beautiful Somerset Enhanced and Somerset Photo inkjet papers at their mill just outside Wells and export them around the world - are offering prizes in the Digital Photography/Art competition.

Aardman Animations: And the winners in our Short Animation competition will receive books signed by legendary Aardman Nick Park - the man behind claymation legends Wallace and Gromit, Shaun the Sheep and Creature Comforts.

Grace productions:

3 copies of GRACE's award-winning Hunting My Husband's Killers documentary (2-box DVD Special Edition) and 2 copies Charlotte: A Royal at War.

In addition, we have on offer a day on location or in the edit with GRACE Productions, in the 12-17 category, in Fiction and Factual categories.
